My Top 5 .45 Caliber Pistols

My top 5 favorite .45 caliber ACP handguns will surely make your mouth water. Now personally, I don’t own any of these guns but if I were to buy 5 particular guns specifically in a .45 caliber format, I will go for these brands of pistols. The basis of my chosen types of firearms is based only in my opinion about these guns, the quality and finish, specs and other functional features of the guns so feel free to place any comments if you have suggestions in what particular guns is much cooler or if you also want to share your own favorites, I would be glad to look it up and see for myself.

Now first in my favorites is the Glock 21, a very reliable name in the firearms industry, holds 13 shots plus 1 in the chamber and you got 14 rounds of firepower in the palm of your hands. A striker fired pistol and very reliable piece of hardware, a polymer finish and a trigger safety operated system where the safety is in the trigger. There is a disadvantage though, Glock models has very thick frames which includes the grip of the gun that is not comfortable to others with smaller hands.

Another is the FNP .45 Tactical handgun, a sweet cool gun created for combat or special operations made available to the public, it hold 15 rounds in the mag plus 1 in the chamber, can you believe it? It has 15 rounds of that ugly massive bullet and it has a threaded barrel where you can place a silencer/suppressor to minimize the noise of that massive .45 caliber ugly slug passing through that barrel of that awesome piece of hardware, it has ambidextrous design made for ease of use, it has a red dot sight emplacement platform in the slide where you can optionally place a red dot for additional accessory of the gun best for target practice. A very innovative gun but it has drawbacks, it is an expensive rig and the package comes with a silencer which will be a problem in some laws of different states or countries, it is very hard to disassemble, you should be careful while taking it apart because some parts tend to be sensitive and can easily break and it is very hard to find and buy parts of the gun and it tends buyers to draw away from buying this rig because of this but other than that is a neat, cool gun to have.

Next is the Taurus 24/7 OSS built for the extremes, is one of the most advanced and capable gun in the world. It has ambidextrous safety and is capable to perform in extreme conditions, it is regarded as the product of special operation personnel’s around the world because they helped create this design to ensure the quality it brings to the shooters. It is a polymer finish and is definitely reliable and innovative in design overall a cool rig to have.

Another is the USP .45 Tactical made by H&K. very famous for being the tool used by many of the Special Forces teams around the world, its design is pure quality and also it has a threaded barrel, 12 round capacity mag holds the massive bullets of .45 caliber. I also noticed it in the call of duty modern warfare which is a great first-person shooting game. USP .45 tactical is highly regarded as one of the best handguns in the world and it is good to own one.

The last but my all-time favorite and the best there ever was is the Colt M1911 .45 caliber, where it all started. It is a historical piece of equipment made by John Moses Browning for the U.S. Military in 1911 and is still in use today by millions of gun owners and it is the most popular handgun in the world and even though it only holds only 7 rounds of ammo in its mag still it is favored by many admirers of this piece of history. Competing with a 1911 surely you’ll be needing a lot of magazines and mag pouches because of that lack of ammunition capacity but still It is where .45 caliber handguns today were based upon, an all steel gun and a collection of guns is not complete without it. Highly respected and world famous Colt M1911 will surely be the ultimate handgun in the world. I’m sure we all have different favorites but one thing is for certain, all of these should be managed properly and should only be allowed in the hands of a responsible and a law abiding owner.
